Individual psychotherapy
Gestalt therapy departs from exploring relationships. This means the process connecting you and me. We do not focus on the internal conflict in the individual but on what arises in the here and now between you and me. In other words we focus on our interdependence and interconnectedness.
Individuals grow and develop in a context of responsiveness from the environment. We are hindered in our growth in an unresponsive, unattuned or abusive environment.
In individual psychotherapy we explore our responsiveness to each other and to our environment. This process leads to realizing your potential and to self-support (adjusting, attaching, differentiating, reaching out, regulating, articulating). The satisfaction that this creates will subsequently enrich and improve the environment or community.
